dbt Alerting for Real – Time Data Teams
We will walk through how we implemented our real-time DBT alerting at ZOE and how others can adopt the same approach! Through the use of Airflow, DBT artifacts, and integration to Slack we are able to notify specific engineering teams of issues in their respective pipelines so they can actively resolve them. We have been able to improve the time to resolve issues by a factor of two thanks to this alerting system.
It is more vital than ever to have good visibility over data quality issues in (near) real-time and clear data ownership but the question has always been how to do this in a seamless manner with technologies you already use. We hope this session will show you how to do just that.
