By removing the need for separate pipelines and tools, AI Functions bring unstructured data into the lakehouse alongside structured data, giving teams faster access to insights and simplifying analysis.

AI Agent

Dremio’s AI Agent transforms how users and AI systems work with data. Instead of writing SQL or switching between tools, users can ask questions in plain language and get instant, accurate answers that are ready to explore or visualize.

The agent understands context across a conversation, allowing follow-up questions and deeper exploration without losing track of intent. It can also refine semantics, create reusable views, and build visualizations—all directly within Dremio Cloud.

Because Dremio’s AI Agent is integrated with Dremio’s Lakehouse Catalog and governance framework, every interaction follows the same policies and access controls that define your data. Dremio’s Open Catalog powered by Apache Polaris

Dremio’s Open Catalog powered by Apache Polaris is an Iceberg-native catalog that provides unified metadata management, fine-grained access controls, and data lineage tracking, enabling a fully governed and high-performance agentic lakehouse—deployable anywhere. This catalog delivers a supported metastore that unifies governance and works with all Iceberg-compatible engines and tools, eliminating lock-in and delivering flexibility.

VS Code Extension for Dremio

The new Dremio VS Code Extension brings the lakehouse directly into the developer workspace. Data engineers and analysts can browse catalogs, write SQL, and visualize results without leaving VS Code. With built-in Microsoft Copilot integration, users can also discover datasets and generate SQL using natural language, making analytics faster and more intuitive.
