René Böhm
Senior Expert AI for Manufacturing Data Science
René graduated as a Dipl.-Ing. in Mechatronics in 2005 and began his career as a simulation engineer at VW-Mechatronic. Without changing his desk, he moved through the companies Siemens, Continental, Vitesco Technologies, and now Schaeffler.
Early on, he developed a passion for data, gradually evolving from simulation engineer to data analyst, then to data mining expert, and finally into data scientist – picking up additional roles along the way, such as data engineer and cloud architect. In parallel, working as a process engineer and developing quality methods (Six Sigma, DfSS) has always helped him stay grounded in reality.
