Karthic Rao is an experienced engineer, technical writer, entrepreneur, and open-source contributor with over a decade of experience in designing and scaling impactful early-stage projects. At MinIO, the leading exabyte-scale object storage company, he spearheads strategic initiatives that integrate Apache Iceberg and Agentic AI to enable organizations to build secure and scalable data lakehouses for the AI era.

Karthic held foundational engineering roles in open-source projects, including Caddy, the web server, and Dgraph. He was also an early engineering team member at MinIO, contributing to the foundation of the community edition. Then, as the founder of Incredible.dev, Karthic was responsible for product development, engineering, community building, and go-to-market strategies from the company’s inception through its growth phase.

Karthic is a prolific technical writer and dedicated educator. He frequently publishes in-depth analyses on Apache Iceberg, modern data governance, and the future of AI-driven data infrastructure. His expertise provides valuable guidance to both practitioners and enterprises navigating the evolving data landscape.
