Summary of Dremio 2.0 Media Coverage

After nearly a year since we exited from stealth last July, we announced the release of Dremio 2.0 on April 25, 2018, our largest and most ambitious release since we launched 1.0. New features in 2.0 include data reflections for star and snowflake schemas, a REST API, support for Looker, and row and column-level access controls. We celebrated the announcement with gluten-free pastries in our office in Mountain View.

That day, we had users from 28 countries, including 6 continents, with France being the second most popular country after the U.S. As a company, we’ve also grown to over 50 employees and are continuing to expand our team.

We’ve also published a new tutorial on how you can use Dremio through our new REST API. Check out the release notes for more detailed information about enhancements, bug fixes, and documentation for our REST API. Our community has also been more active than ever–post a question if you are ever running into issues using Dremio.
